A weekend away...

This past weekend there were 5 of us who went to the Ct. Expo Center for a scrap booking weekend. It was an event put on by Creative Memories but I found some people who were interested in Stampin' Up. Luckily I packed some business card.

What a great time we had. We laughed, we ate, we cried from laughing, we scrapped and we ate..... lolol. Two of my friends went and got massages. I passed on that one. maybe next year. I was nice and relaxed all weekend so why spend the money? Thats how i look at it. lolol  We are hoping to do it again next year and maybe have more people come. We spent the night in Hartford even though we are only less then a half hour away from home. It was well work it!

In March I will be attending the  Stamin' Up convention in Hartford. That should be a great day. In September, we will head back to NY for the rubber stamp show again. Better start saving now for that one!!

More wedding album

My friend got married on the 16th so I am now able to post some pictures from the album I made her. its the first on I made for a gift and also the first 8X8. I found it harder to work with the smaller size but it was well worth it for my friend!! lololol.

This month has been busy for me so I havent been doing too much on my blog. I will be posting more pictures soon.

Enjoy this nice fall weather. The leaves at my house are all changed and absolutely gorgeous.

Wedding Album

This is a page from a wedding album I am working on for a good friend of mine. It is a 8 1/2 X 11, which I am not use to working with. I favor my 12 X 12 pages. So much easier to work with.
Material used was Element of style stamp set, satin ribbon. The words are rub on.
I am hoping she will enjoy her book.
